Meet Our Portland Dental Team

Manny, Practice Manager

Manny has over 15 years of experience, and he’s always working to find new and creative ways to lead the team so they can better serve our patients. He grew up in Los Angeles before moving to Oregon in his teens, and he does everything he can to experience nature when he isn’t working. His home is full of well-cared-for plants, and he often goes on hiking and road trips.

Shelby, Front Desk Receptionist

Shelby will be one of the first friendly faces you see when you come to visit us, as she’s all about creating a positive atmosphere for patients when they arrive. Coming to us all the way from Hawaii, she travels down the Oregon Coast when she can or chills out at home with her cats.

Anita, Treatment Coordinator

Anita really enjoys collaborating with an incredible team, saying our dentists offer great support and mentorship, letting her serve our patients even better as time goes on. It’s deeply rewarding to assist our patients and watch them receive exceptional care from our entire team. Married with two children, she likes to spend her free time reading scary novels, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and going for evening walks.

Diane, Accounts Manager/Insurance Coordinator

Diane has had an amazing 45+ year career in dentistry. She says it has been a privilege to watch so many patients grow up, become parents, and even grandparents! After starting her career as a dental assistant, she transitioned to administration and became the go-to person for all things related to dental insurance. Married for 40+ years with two adult sons, she is a woman of many talents, able to play both the guitar and accordion.

Darcey, Dental Hygienist

Darcey has been a part of the dental world for over 20 years! Trained at Portland Community College, she loves helping people improve their oral AND overall health by decreasing inflammation in their mouth and body. Family is a big part of Darcey’s life. She is one of eight kids and has three grown stepchildren in addition to several nieces and nephews. Staying active is also a priority, which is why she likes to hike, lift weights, and go paddleboarding whenever she can.

Rachel, Dental Hygienist (EPDH)

While removing tartar from teeth is tremendously satisfying, Rachel says that her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients and making a positive impact on their lives. Life is busy as she is a new homeowner and also has over 20 houseplants! Thankfully, her family from San Diego is always happy to help (her sister even travels all the way here to have her teeth cleaned!).

Lauren, Dental Hygienist

Lauren says that her job is really about building lasting relationships with patients where they feel comfortable sharing their lives. She strives to create a welcoming environment where they can feel heard and cared for. She attended the Oregon Institute of Technology and loves to explore, whether this involves going on a road trip or trying a new restaurant, taking plenty of photos along the way.

Jessica, Dental Hygienist (EPDH)

For Jessica, the best part of her job is getting to meet new people every day and build genuine connections with her patients. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone gain confidence in their smile and reach their oral health goals. A graduate of Pacific University, she often takes trips to Mexico to visit family, explores the Columbia River Gorge, or relaxes at home with her cat and two dogs.

Kennedy, Dental Assistant

Kennedy practically started her dental career with us, and she is proud to have grown into a lead dental assistant who genuinely loves what she does. From building relationships with patients to supporting and mentoring our team, she enjoys creating a comfortable experience while helping the practice run smoothly behind the scenes. When she’s not at the office or traveling, Kennedy can often be found at home crocheting blankets.

Tiffany, Dental Assistant

Tiffany’s goal with each patient is to make them feel like they are in good hands. She goes out of her way to make the experience as comfortable and positive as possible, and it shows! Most of her free time is spent with her four daughters, taking them to their various sporting events. Wrestling, softball, dance…it’s a lot!

Yolanda, Dental Assistant

Everyone feels like they are in great hands with Yolanda, as it’s easy for patients to sense that she truly loves what she does. Married with one daughter and a dog, Yolanda can often be found in the kitchen baking or cooking, and she also likes to volunteer on the weekends.

Kaori, Hygiene Coordinator

Originally from Japan, Kaori loves working alongside our incredible doctors and team who truly make each day great. She also goes the extra mile to protect her patients' health and keep the office running smoothly. Her background in dentistry comes from hands-on, real-world experience that started from the ground up. Today, she and her husband have two daughters and outside of the office, her favorite hobbies include visiting Rockaway Beach, trying new recipes, working on puzzles, gardening, crafting, hosting game nights, and relaxing with a good movie. 

Leticia, Dental Assistant/Sterile Technician

Leticia helps our practice run efficiently, ensuring our team always has what it needs right when they need it. Married with four children, most of her free time is dedicated to loved ones, going to the park to play softball or soccer, or getting everyone together to cook carne asada.
